Our bear watching tours have become very popular. From May through the middle of July bears can be seen foraging along the coastline while they wait for the salmon to arrive. From mid-July through September we search for bears fishing at the mouths of salmon streams and near the Neets Bay salmon hatchery. These are hungry black bears who prepare for winter by feasting on salmon returning to the hatchery and to a number of natural spawning streams located throughout Neets Bay.
