Ketchikan, Alaska Mountain Goats inhabit the alpine slopes of Misty Fjords -- 45 miles East of Ketchikan. Some of the continent's largest mountain goat populations are found in Southeast Alaska browsing the meadows and traversing steep, rocky outcrops. There are about 14,000 mountain goats in Southeast, Alaska. |
